Movie Review: Rab Ne Bana De Jodi

Yesterday me with friends went for the movie Rab Ne Bana De Jodi at Ragam.

To be faith

The movie is superb. Superb Story. I loved it. The movie has been shot in punjab. But the movie is colourful. Some times you may feel a littel bit lagging in the first half. But I didnt fell much lagging. The songs of the movie is also nice. Please dont think I am a sharuk fan and fooling everyone. I am talking about the movie.

Anyway I wont tell the story, Please go and see the movie.

Homemade PCB using gEDA

Wow
It was a great experience for me in designing a pcb using gEDA.
This board was designed using PCB (which is in gEDA).

This is the begning of my way to open hardware. I will come up with more designes.

This board contains an astable multivibrator using 555.

FSUG Thrissur Inauguration was completed

Day before yesterday was FSUG Thrissur inauguration. I am sad to say that I was not there because of my stupid university exams. I reached at the end around 5.30pm for the eating ceremony. Here are some of the reports that can be checked

Welcome to the inauguration of Free Software User Group, Thrissur. This will be held on 4th December 2008.

More details can be found on the FSUG Thrissur wiki page. As a member of FSUG Thrissur, I am unhappy to sat that I wont be there to attend the inauguration. I am having my university lab exams. But I will reach at the end of the event.

Me On NCFS 2008 Kochi :- BOYCOTT NOVELL

Last 15th (Saturday) & 16 (Sunday) were unforgettable days for me. Because these were the days I went to attend the National Free Software conference at CUSAT Campus, Kochi. Actually the first free software conference that I attended. The unforgettable thing was the Protest against ‘Platinum Sponsor’ :- The notorious Novell.

First meeting of FSUG Thrissur

Today we had the first meeting of FSUG thrissur.

There were 9 members.
We all met on P G Center at 5.30 pm

2 were students from GEC
Pramode sir
Ranjith sir
Myself
Suresh ചേട്ടന്‍‍
One lady lecturer of Govt. Diploma
Two guys. Name’s I dont remember.

Also these meeting will be on every friday 5.30 pm at P G Center.

One of the thing that I noticed was that there was a lady member. Its actually women power in FOSS. We had a general discussion on the inauguration.

These were some points discussed

>Inauguration on 4th December at Sahithya academy

>1 day complete event

>To release a tutorial CD (video) on how to install GNU/linux and also some basic operations

>Poster and broucher

>Also to distribute UBUNTU DVD I think still some points are missing. I hope some one will post more  on  the mailing list.

National Conference On Free Software 2008
is being organized in Cochin Kerala (India) on 15 and 16 November 2008.
Last years event was held in Hyderabad .Perhaps we should remedy this time around, I request
readers to please spread the word about the conference widely.

The event is organised by Appropriate Technology Promotion Society(ATPS) , CUSAT, Government of Kerala’s IT@School project and Open Software Solutions Industrial Cooperative Society Limited (OSS ICS)

I think this is my first seminar I an going to attend.
